The sun is shining fiercely. At 9 A.M. of 4th September, Anqing Foreign Language School's Senior High Department held the 2020 closing ceremony of military training for the freshmen in Grade 10 at the track-and-field ground, which was attended by Vice Principal Liu Bing, Principal Assistant Qian Zhihong in charge of the Senior High Department, Deputy Directors   Xu Haihong, Xu Zuitai, Liu Qiongdan, troops leader Xue Jingyu and some parents. The ceremony was presided over by Deputy Director Xu Haihong with the Senior High Department.
To start with, the closing ceremony kicked off with a solemn flag-raising ceremony and a majestic national anthem. Initially we watched the military training parade and the display of daily routine of sanitation tasks, followed by the speech from student representative Yu Wenjing with the second battalion, parents' letter exchange activities  as well as a keynote speech of the military leader Xue Jingyu.
Furthermore, Deputy Director Xu Zuitai chaired the Individual Award Ceremony, Deputy Director Liu Qiongdan presided over the Group Award Ceremony, and then all the trainees took the oath, with student Qian Wenting from the first battalion leading the oath. Afterwards, Deputy Director Xu Haihong made the summary speech, and Principal Assistant Qian Zhihong presented silk banners to the army leaders.
Finally, Vice Principal Liu Bing announced the triumphant conclusion of the military training camp! The closing ceremony was successfully concluded with the majestic military song of the PLA.
All in all, the best ending promises the best beginning. It's believed that after the military training, the students will certainly learn from the instructors' rigorous style, indomitable will and the spirit of hardship; Meanwhile, students will certainly bring the spirit of strict discipline and collective care learned in the military training into their future study and life. We firmly believe that the students from the 10th grade will definitely be strict with themselves and become the persevering members of Anqing Foreign Language School who observe discipline, unite as one, cherish the good name of the collective, make noticeable progress with a strong will and outstanding performance!
